I thought it might be a good idea to provide a list of the books and blogs I've been reading recently. All of which have helped to convince me to give this new wheat-free / low-carb lifestyle a good go.

I'm not 'promoting' these books on behalf of anyone, just providing some background to my journey.

Most of the books themselves are available in libraries, or in my case I bought them 'used' from eBay or Amazon or for iPad (as I didn't want to wait for delivery).

The List (updated 22.08.2012)

The Diet Delusion and his latest more layman's version Why We Get Fat both by Gary Taubes

Also worth checking out www.garytaubes.com for more info. There is also a range of You Tube video's where Gary gives talks (mainly at Universities, Symposiums, TV/Radio) about his in-depth research on the subject of cutting sugars & starches for improved health and weigh loss (particularly on obesity and it's connected chronic illnesses). One of the You Tube Users I've noticed has a lot of good quality videos can be found here.
